CFMTA was founded in 2002 and is a local chapter of the Georgia Music Teachers Association (GMTA) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
We are a body of active educators devoted to our unique areas of expertise. Whether instructing privately or in a classroom setting, we teach with competence, act with integrity, volunteer services to MTNA programs, provide professional support for colleagues and communities, and comply with all laws, regulations, and the CFMTA Code of Ethics. Above all else, we are committed to fostering a lifetime of music appreciation in all of our students.
