Why donate?
CFMTA is a non-profit organization. We are a local chapter of the Music Teachers National Association and the Georgia Music Teachers Association. Most of our activities are funded by our fundraising Fall Festival event. Other events are paid for by our members and their students, but often there are exciting projects that must be downsized or set aside. We also help provide various educational and competitive opportunities for students, including scholarships.
It's incredibly important for students to experience an accomplished solo pianist performing live. In 2022, CFMTA will be funding its first live concert event of a solo recitalist. We hope our local community will be as excited about this event as we are about hosting it. Donations are imperative to keep this event an annual tradition for years to come and that attendance remains free of charge.
